You can transfer your favorite songs to your MP3 player or iPod from any of the music websites using a USB 2.0 connection. This transfer can be done with in seconds. These devices have compatibility with many online music services and subscription. Some MP3 players and iPods have 'PlaysForSure' compatibility. So you should check for this logo before you buy the player. All the music services will work with the device which has this compatibility.

Display screens can vary hugely in size. You can choose one according to your choice. There are small screens (as small as a 4 line graphic LCD) and there are also big screens. They may have a 320 x 240 pixel resolution.

All the contents of a CD can be transferred to your player with the press of a button. This can be done easily using the USB 2 connection.

" Some commonly supported formats are: WMA, Adaptive Transform Acoustic Coding 3 (ATRAC3), MP3, WAV/AIFF and ACC. The last format is used only by the Apple iPod.
